Not only was this semi literate man responsible for government decisions but they then promote him to the house of lords.

OHhhh, so NOW he thinks the intelligence was a bit iffy? How unfortunate that he didn't hold a major post in the government which would have allowed him to express these doubts to the Prime Minister, the Cabinet, the House of Commons and the nation. If only he'd been something like the Deputy Prime Minister, THEN he'd have been able to do something about that illegal war and tell us about the doubtfulness of the intelligence....

John Prescott held two important positions: ! - He was there to bring the left-wing, old-guard of the Labour Party on board with Tony Blair's new-fangled New Labourism, a job which he thought was still important AFTER Blair had already got the job; and 2 - He was there to make Tony Blair look good by being a complete plonker. Unfortunately it seems he thinks he's still doing job number 2. Jesus Christ in leather on roller skates, somebody put us out of our misery and shoot the old wanker.
OH yeah, and he looks like a cross between you and Les Dawson. Sorry, but someone has to say it and I'm happy to be the one.
